The Stadium has also hosted several concerts and other events. The Stadium also has an Aquatic Center and Tennis Center. Pasadena is well known for preserving the history of arts. Some important museums are the Pacific Asia Museum, The Pasadena Museum of California Art, Pasadena Museum of History. All of these museums have changing exhibits and welcome people of all ages to see their extensive exhibits. One very famous resident of Pasadena was William Wrigley Jr. The owner of the chewing gum company. His large home was donated to the city when he passed away in 1958. With the understanding that it would be home to the Rose Parade Headquarters.
The city has honored his which to this day. Another famous property owner was Anna Bissell McCoy. She is the daughter of Melville Bissell maker of the carpet sweeper. Today the Bissell house is a bed and breakfast. Old Town Pasadena is a wonderful stretch of streets with upscale shops, restaurants, cafes and nightlife. The Rose Bowl flea markets is housed at the world famous Rose Bowl. Thousands of vendors come on the second Sunday of every month to sell their wears. You can find jewelry, Antiques and Vintage clothing. Lots of families come and spend the day looking around and shopping.
